Through the establishment of Optris GmbH, the founder aim to add innovative measurment and application principles to the wide range of non-contact temperature sensors. 
Doing this, Optris combines high quality infrared thermometers and thermal imagers with contemporary prices, in order to provide the best/modern infrared technology to as many customers as possible.
   
How does Optris achieve this goal?
The main parts of our basic technology are based on the semiconductor industry. In order to provide progressive technology, Optris cooperates with semiconductor suppliers, assuming the sale of high quantities. This leads to the manufacturing of high volumes of infrared sensors and to cost benefits, which we directly forward to our customers.
